league table (plural league tables)

  1. (sports) A tabular display of the teams in some league in order of win percentage or points awarded, often also including number of matches played, won, lost, and drawn, goal difference, etc.
  2. (chiefly British) Such a listing of hospitals, schools and other institutions showing their ranking according to various indicators of performance.
