Pronunciation
[edit]- (North Wales) IPA(key): /anˈhɛbɪɡ/, /anˈhɛbɨ̞ɡ/
- (South Wales) IPA(key): /anˈheːbɪɡ/, /anˈhɛbɪɡ/
- Despite being written with a "y", the vowel here is generally pronounced /ɪ/ in the north as tends to be the case when "y" precedes "g".
