This list is a glossary copied from w:User:Trebor1990/Hungarian dictionary. As it is not really appropriate as either a user page or a Wikipedia page, I have moved it here for Wiktionary articles to be made from. —Muke Tever 01:38, 29 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Cool. But why did you put it in a different place from all the other Request articles? Somewhere I made a proposal to organize various stuff on a per-language basis using a namespace system: Wiktionary talk:Requested articles
Categories are very helpful for this but I think a naming system is also good. — Hippietrail 02:46, 29 Jun 2004 (UTC)
Well, I thought I remembered talk about a more convenient hierarchy — but I guess not. I'll move it to match the others. —Muke Tever 03:08, 29 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Is anyone working to incorporate this glossary into the Hungarian index? (I'd like to be able to delete that glossary from my Wikipedia page... :) )

Bluelinks[edit]

Can the bluelinks be removed by whomever made the entries for these words? 24.29.228.33 16:14, 24 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Policy[edit]

I'd like some clarification regarding policy on:

  • requests for long phrase book type requests - "külföldi turista vagyok"
  • request for more arbitrary phrases - "I burnt my tonge on the scalding coals..."
  • requests for all inflections of basic phrase phrases - Van térképetek

There's no clear guideline on what's allowable in the phrasebook. See Category:English phrasebook for some examples. The Wiktionary criteria for inclusion say the phrasebook can contain "very common expressions that are considered useful to non-native speakers", for what it's worth; presumably the translation into Hungarian of "I burnt my tongue on the scalding coals" would not qualify, while "külföldi turista vagyok" might. Inflections of multi-word phrasebook entries can usually automatically redirect per the advice at [[Wiktionary:Redirections]].—msh210 (talk) 21:05, 21 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
