Voting on: To solve the issue of the recent validation votes and to finally give due weight to the CFI change in February, I propose the following changes:

  • Move User:Fytcha/Sources to Wiktionary:Sources and make it binding policy.
  • Change WT:CFI as follows:
    Replace
    Other online-only sources may also contribute towards attestation requirements if editors come to a consensus through a discussion lasting at least two weeks.

Overview:

  • This votes creates a new voting venue for online-only sources. It also creates a central location where the result of all such votes are recorded.
  • The results of the two related BP threads (1, 2) are to be respected and incorporated into the list of discussed online sources of this vote. However, all further changes should be made through the venue proposed in this vote.
