Latin. RFV of the usage note: "passive forms (from the meaning of mounting) are mostly unattested". I contend that the verb is not attested in the passive at all. All the attestations I can find for this verb's passive forms talk about salt, which looks like a case of confusion between the two saliōs. Ping @GuitarDudeness who added this note.
