Danish "archaic"?

[edit]

I am not Danish myself, nor do I speak it perfectly, but fader is "archaic"? This cannot be true, because it is used in the written language, e.g. in the Danish Wikipedia in biographical articles (as I self had to learn, after using the familar term "far"). I suggest to call it "formal", and then it matches the reality. -- Arne List 14:15, 20 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Program to produce coloured text in chat rooms

[edit]

It seems that a certain class of program to allow a user to produce multicoloured text in chat rooms (e.g. AOL) was called a fader. Equinox 12:03, 4 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

...or a text fader. Still can't cite it. Equinox 00:16, 26 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
