Etymology discussion

The forms of ASL "Beautiful" I have seen have an open hand (palm-in) on the right side of the face. Hand circles up, over, and around the entire face, ending up in an O hand (palm-in) at the starting point. Eyes close showing the signer imagining something of beauty. The action is quick for mentioning beauty in passing, and slow for emphasizing something of extreme beauty. The ending handshape is normally held in final position, but it can be shaking in final position as another emphasis. - Tom 22:20, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

I suspect the form you describe is the most common, so a proper entry for this sign belongs at 5@NearCheek-PalmAcross RoundVert O@NearCheek-PalmAcross or thereabouts, with the appropriate photos (and/or video).
