     Cases of people who live alone dying with no one in attendance, so-called kodokushi (or solitary death), are increasing.

     Mizukara kaihatsu shita shisutemu de, riyōsha ni muryō tsūshin apuri “Rain” no messēji o okuri, henshin no umu de anpi o kakunin suru. Konno-san wa “Gen'eki sedai mo kodokushi suru risuku ga aru. Otōto no yō na saigo o herashitai” to hanashita.

     Using a system he developed, he sends messages to end users via the free “LINE” app, and confirms their wellbeing on the basis of whether they reply. “Even among working people, there is a risk of dying alone. I want to reduce the number who end up like my brother,” Mr. Konno said.
