  1. : sea bream
    タイ((たい))は、めでたいの"たい"につながることから、(えん)()のよいものと(かんが)えられています。
    Tai (tai) wa, medetai no "tai" ni tsunagaru koto kara, engi no yoi mono to kangaerareteimasu.
    Sea bream (tai) is considered good luck because tai is the ending of the word medetai (auspicious).
