The power on-off button: a circle with a vertical line in the centre.
Origin[edit]
Created 1973 by the International Electrotechnical Commission as a translingual symbol for electronic products intended to be shipped around the world; probably a combination of two other symbols, ⭘ (“power-off”) and ⏽ (“power-on”).
