Literally, “May they inquire about you in goodness”.

ܡܒܲܩܪܝܼܢ݇ ܒܘܿܟ݂ ܒܛܵܒ݂̈ܵܬ݂ܵܐ • (mbaqrī bōḵ bṭāḇāṯā)
- A response when inquired about a person’s well doing
Usage notes[edit]
- The first part of this phrase ܡܒܲܩܪܝܼܢ݇ ― mbaqrī ― May they ask, is always in the 3rd person plural form.
- This is said to a single male; the feminine singular is ܡܒܲܩܪܝܼܢ݇ ܒܵܟ݂ܝ ܒܛܵܒ݂̈ܵܬ݂ܵܐ (mbaqrī bāḵ bṭāḇāṯā), and the plural is ܡܒܲܩܪܝܼܢ݇ ܒܟ݂ܘܿܢ ܒܛܵܒ݂̈ܵܬ݂ܵܐ (mbaqrī bḵōn bṭāḇāṯā).
