Borrowed from Old Church Slavonic възненавидѣти (vŭznenaviděti). By surface analysis, воз- (voz-) +‎ ненави́деть (nenavídetʹ, to hate). Compare Belarusian зненаві́дзець (znjenavídzjecʹ), Ukrainian знена́видіти (znenávydity).
