English[edit]

Etymology[edit]

From German Rhinion.[1]

Noun[edit]

rhinion

  1. (anatomy) The lower end of the suture between the nasal bones.
    • 2009, Fred J. Stucker, Rhinology and Facial Plastic Surgery[1]:
Since the skin is thinner at the rhinion, a slight protrusion of the underlying bony cartilaginous framework should be maintained at the rhinion in order to create a straight external dorsal profile.
