push time (countable and uncountable, plural push times)

  1. (animation) The total amount of time or total number of frames required for a character to push in animation, from the distance from the character's center of gravity in the crouch, to the center of gravity in takeoff position.
  2. (sports) The elapsed time from the moment someone pushes a bobsled to start a course until it reaches the finish line.

      As I tried to protect my head from skidding on the ice at eighty miles an hour, I though to myself, this sucks, our push time better be fast!
  3. (networking, telecommunications) The time when a remote server sends an unsolicited update.
