     Laurency: Sans moi, tu serais dans une maison publique d’Alger ou d’Oran.

     Aisha: I would be the wife of a Spanish gentleman! I would have my own carriage in Madrid!
     Laurency: Without me, you would be in a brothel in Algiers or Oran.
