Weird that I remember reading on imdb of somthing about a director being credited for "inventing" the Oedipus Schmoedipus joke, maybe Kevin Smith. But then on youtube I just noticed it being used in a sketch by Monty Python (the one in the court), and looking for more info I find it's derived from a Yiddish habit. --Ephestione 14:55, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
