It's not in the OED (the entry for derve refers only to the OE and ME forms, with the last citation dated a1225), and vol. 2 of the EDD is broken at the Internet Archive. I strongly suspect it is a ghost word and should be removed. --Johnwcowan (talk) 12:58, 10 December 2015 (UTC)
