Plural

[edit]

I was surprised to see croci as a valid plural - Wikipedia has only crocus and crocuses as plurals, but after research I have to accept that croci is used by some. I always thought that crocus really came from Greek κρόκος rather than from genuine Latin, but perhaps I am wrong there. I would avoid the croci plural because it is also the plural of croce. What does anyone else think? Dbfirs 17:27, 23 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
