RFC removed

Luciferwildcat (talk • contribs) (now blocked) tagged this entry for cleanup (but did not list it at WT:RFC) in 2012, asking, how can we have an sg=for the two single words without it being a link to a single form?. I understand him to be suggesting we should find a way, in {{en-plural noun}}'s |sg= parameter, to link to cold and cut separately. But I think the parameter's documentation, how the value is displayed, and the definition of cold cut suggest it is more appropriate to link to the single term cold cut.
