Images are sometimes included in Wiktionary entries to illustrate concepts that might be difficult for readers to visualize from the text of a definition alone. However, given the meaning of the term TERF, it seemed preferable to use a historical image, rather than a photo of a modern celebrity or public figure. That could be interpreted as ascribing a set of political beliefs to a living woman based on her hairstyle. Which would of course be problematic for a number of reasons. I didn't add this photo of Kate Gosselin to the entry for Karen haircut due to similar considerations. Gosselin is indeed sporting what's come to be known as a Karen haircut in the photo. But associating an actual person with the pejorative Karen is not the best approach. Better for an entry to have no illustration than a problematic one. Similarly, if the Joan of Arc painting is going to be received as more than a visual representation of short, blunt-edged bangs paired with a bob, it's probably preferable for this entry to be unillustrated.
