1st attestation can obviously go into the Etym (bad), in a short note with the sense (good), or with the actual first known cite being given (best).

Is there any accepted way to handle what was here before, a note that the 'any heretic' sense was most popular 17th–19th century? or the sense should just be marked dated &c. and the exact heyday isn't usually important to note? — LlywelynII 21:34, 8 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
