Word basically doesn't exist[edit]

Hardly anyone capitalizes this word and uses an apostrophe. This is the Internet. --92.74.65.61 15:08, 22 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

I've seen it spelt this way. This "word" definitely does exist. Tharthan (talk) 16:49, 22 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Pronunciation[edit]

I'm skeptical of the pronunciation /ˈmɝɪkə/. I think I've heard /ˈmɚɪkə/ (or /ˈmɚəkə/), as suggested by the replacement of the e in America with u. - excarnateSojourner (talk | contrib) 20:36, 29 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

/ɝ/ and /ɚ/ are the same phoneme, just the former is used in stressed position and the latter unstressed. – Nixinova [‌T|C] 03:42, 5 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
