Fibonacci spiral (plural Fibonacci spirals)

  1. (geometry) An approximation of the golden spiral created by drawing circular arcs connecting the opposite corners of squares in a Fibonacci tiling; a spiral formed by connecting quarter-circles whose radii are Fibonacci number multiples of the initial radius.
