Etymology[edit]
From Latin Ecclesiastes, from Ancient Greek Ἐκκλησιαστής (Ekklēsiastḗs) according to the Septuagint. The greek word is a loan translation of Hebrew קֹהֶלֶת, from Hebrew קָהָל.
