Japanese
[edit]Etymology
[edit]Perhaps from 鬢 (bin, “hair on the temples”). The -ta suffix is unknown, but it could have been that same as the one in 新た (arata, “new”). (Can this(+) etymology be sourced?)

[edit](Kagoshima) IPA(key): /bìⁿtáꜜ/ (tone class B)

[edit]- (dialectal, Kagoshima) head (body part); hair on the head
