- 14th century, Madhav Kandali, Saptakanda Ramayana Sundara Kanda:
- হাঞ্চি জেঠী নমানিয়া ৰণক গমন ।
বালী সুগ্ৰীৱৰ দুইৰ ভৈল দৰিশন ॥- hañci jeṭhī nomaniya roṇoko gomono ,
balī sugrīworo duiro bhoilo doriśono . - Went to the war without obeying sneeze and house lizard (which are considered as bad omen),
Bali and Sugriva both saw and met each other.

- হাঞ্চি জেঠী নমানিয়া ৰণক গমন ।
