Inherited from Sauraseni Prakrit [Term?], from Sanskrit अट्टालिका (aṭṭālikā), from अट्टाल (aṭṭāla, “watchtower”) + -इका (-ikā). Doublet of अट्टालिका (aṭṭālikā), a tatsama.
